Your new role will see you join our UK based team of committed professionals and will fully utilise your diverse set of both technical and administration skills – all at the same time.  A truly unique role that requires a unique person with exceptional time management skills.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Liaise with customers and carriers to deliver our SmartFreight® solution.
  • Organise tasks for technical team.
  • Managing delivery and stock control of SmartFreight® consumables.
  • Through applying your acute attention to detail, undertake various diverse administration duties as directed.
  • Have a passion to deliver the ultimate customer service experience.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • You will be an authorised UK citizen or resident.
  • Have a desire to undertake a role consisting of many moving parts that will stretch your learning abilities.
  • Be able to display excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Be an excellent communicator with other members of the SmartFreight® Europe team.
  • Be prepared to enter into an intensive and ongoing training program upon commencement of the role.
  • Be prepared to work harmoniously with a diverse group of highly motivated colleagues.
  • Be able to take ownership of the day to day running of internal administration processes of the Stockport offices.
  • Work closely with sales personnel in delivering best-of-class SmartFreight TMS solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Technical Experience desired include but not isolated to:
    • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail is paramount.
    • Be able to communicate in a professional manner with customers and carriers with a high level of verbal and written English skills.
    • Basic Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
    • Ability to learn new software platforms.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks in order of urgency.

Nice to have skills or experience would include:

  • A background in transport or logistics.
  • A background in warehousing or outward goods dispatch processes.
  • Experience with basic stock control.
