Your new role will see you join our UK based team of committed professionals and will fully utilise your level 2 technical expertise within a busy technical environment supporting a diverse range of existing customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing support related telephone calls and emails from customers.
  • Taking Level 2 ownership of customer technical queries when unable to be serviced by other junior technical team members.
  • Communicating technical advice to customers in an easy to understand format.
  • Install and train new customers on SmartFreight® software solutions either remotely or at customer locations.
  • Manage the technical team available to you with the best possible outcome for client and organization alike.
  • Have a passion to deliver the ultimate customer service experience.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • You will be an authorised UK citizen or resident.
  • Be a qualified or equivalently qualified level 2 technical support person.
  • Be prepared to enter into an intensive and ongoing training program upon commencement of the role.
  • Be prepared to travel for business.
  • Own your own Motor Vehicle.
  • Own your own Mobile Phone.
  • Be prepared to manage harmoniously with a diverse group of highly motivated colleagues.
  • Be able to display excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Work closely with sales personnel in designing and delivering best-of-class SmartFreight TMS solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Technical Experience desired include but not isolated to:
    • Microsoft SQL server
    • An understanding of SQL Query
    • Microsoft Operating Systems
    • IT networking experience
  • IT customer service experience.

Nice to have skills or experience would include:

  • A background in transport or logistics.
  • A background in warehousing or outward goods dispatch processes.
